I love you today

Valentine’s day is one of those holidays that…well…I don’t know…I think it’s kinda silly.  There I said it.  I know…I loved it when I was a kid and our classroom had a Valentine party and I picked out the best valentine for that boy I had a crush on but now as an adult…I think that boy I have a crush on should know that I love him everyday of the year…not just especially on February 14th.  So I decided to make a “valentine” that could be used throughout the year.  I appliqued fabric to a felt heart pocket that I sewed together.  Inside of it, I left a little note letting my loved ones know I love them…I am so blessed and really do have a lot of love in my life.  I also left a little note pad for them to use to spread the love around their home all year long.  So a note could be left inside of it and placed in someone’s lunch box, car, laptop…wherever you know that person will find it.  It can be a note of appreciation for something they do for you that day or in your life, it could be a note that says something they really like about you, it could be a picture that is drawn by those little loves in your life.  I’m a sap…maple tree is my middle name, so I love this kind of thing.  I know it doesn’t come as easy for some to do this, so I tried to make it as simple as possible.  I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s day and are blessed enough to spend it with the ones you love.
