Sarah created a stuffed doll on my sewing machine. I bought the kit at Walmart of all places! She had a blast cutting out the pattern pieces and stuffing her, then sewing her shut all by herself! She did get a little bit bored with the kit and I ended up finishing her clothes and hair ties for her but otherwise she really enjoyed sewing. She liked the dress pattern for a cape rather than a dress, so I suggested she trace the pattern onto another fabric and make her a cape (monkey fabric in the picture). She was super excited to have a doll “like her”.
